What is Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) ?

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is a unique 17-character code assigned to every vehicle by the manufacturer. It acts as a fingerprint for your vehicle, containing information about the car's manufacturer, model, engine type, and production details. 

Where can I find my vehicle's VIN?

You can locate your vehicle's VIN in several places, including:

  • Dashboard: On the driver's side, at the base of the windshield. You can see it from outside the vehicle, looking in.

  • Driver’s side door frame: Open the driver's side door, and look on the door frame or near the latch.

  • Vehicle Documents: Your VIN is also listed on your vehicle registration, insurance documents, and the owner’s manual.
